Hi

Thanks for checking out my site. This page is meant to be a taster showing our magnificent surroundings and the beautiful walks which can be enjoyed at Stourhead in Wiltshire.

The weather was good for a couple of days but it rained solidly throughout daylight on another day. Fortunately there are good paths within the main grounds and enought to see and entertain.

Stourhead and this National Trust setting are well worth a visit.

This was our rainy day showing the much photographed island, usually taken in the autumn but this was spring in the rain.

This is a Folly built in 1772 and is looked after by the National Trust.

It is known as King Alfred's Tower

This rural setting shows two hikers enjoying lunch at St Peters Pump which is the Source of the River Stour.

This river flows all the way to the sea at Christchurch.

Thats It - Thanks for looking. Ken
