YET AGAIN - THE ISLE OF ARRAN 2023

Too far to drive now in one hit so we used the train services to get to Glasgow and hired a car in Ayr. In fact it was cheaper to hire a white van rather than a car so that's what we did and had a wonderful ten days. The weather was good and we managed to walk our favourite trails covering 83 miles.

It really has confirmed our love of the Island of Arran which is my Spiritual Home. Thank you to the Williams family for allowing me back again into their beautiful characterful home at Glen Sannox.

The island is called Ailsa Craig (which comes from the Gaelic, Aillse Creag meaning “fairy rock”) but is known by many as “Paddy's Milestone as it is the halfway point on the sea journey between Glasgow and Belfast.
