The Island of Arran, Firth of Clyde, Scotland

My family holidays were spent on this beautiful Island and Jane and I enjoyed many long stays on Arran at Glen Sannox, Corrie, Blackwaterfoot, Lamlash and Lochranza.
We revisited again in 2022 - a trip planned since 2019 but postponed many times because of Covid regulations.
This visit was forced to be of short duration but I hope you enjoy these photographs.

The Isle of Arran is known as Scotland in Miniature.
It is 100km around the island by road.
It contains several mountain ranges with the highest being Goatfell at 2867feet.
With shelter from the Mull of Kintyre to the west, there is land to be seen all around the island.

Deer were a common sight and they run freely
